THE JOURNEY TO DISCIPLESHIP
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

THE JOURNEY IS REAL

GETTING TO KNOW JESUS
THE JOURNEY TO DISCIPLESHIP
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

The journey to discipleship is a transformative path that reshapes every facet of a person’s life. It requires commitment, self-reflection, and a willingness to follow Christ's teachings. As one embarks on this journey, it becomes evident that discipleship is not only about personal growth but also about fostering a deeper connection with God, which ultimately leads to eternal blessings and the promise of reaching one's heavenly home.
Through discipleship, individuals are challenged to grow spiritually, emotionally, and morally. It involves surrendering personal desires and adopting a Christ-centered mindset. This process strengthens virtues such as humility, patience, and love, qualities that resonate throughout every relationship and interaction. The trials and challenges faced along the way serve as refining moments, teaching resilience and trust in God’s plan.
Moreover, discipleship opens the door to blessings in profound ways. The peace that comes from aligning one’s life with God’s purpose is immeasurable. The joy of serving others and the fulfillment of living a purpose-driven life are fruits of this journey. Each step taken in faith brings one closer to the ultimate reward: eternal life with God.
By following the journey to discipleship, believers are not only molded into Christ’s likeness but are also assured of their place in their heavenly home, a testament to God’s unwavering promises.

Authentic
Worship
The community comes together to give praise, adoration, thanksgiving, and petition to God and to partake in the sacraments. We join with others in order to allow Christ to build us into the place where God lives.
Ephesians 2:18-22, John 4:5-42

Transformative Education
Transformative education is intentional learning through classes, studies, seminars, etc. with a specific emphasis on Wesleyan theology, which specifically translate knowledge of Scripture, theology, and more into Christ-like action.
Luke 6:17-26

God Honoring Relationships
God-Honoring Relationships are mutually beneficial and edifying to all involved and are centered around Christ. These relationships build community in our lives and in the church, especially when we are different and have different experiences and understandings. We share a common experience of faith in Jesus Christ and encourage, comfort, and hold one other accountable.
Philippians 2:1-8, Matthew 18:15-22, Mark 2:14-17

Works of Justice & Compassion
While everything we do should reflect love for God and neighbor, we also intentionally serve others with our actions. Together we work for justice, with compassion so that all peoples have the freedom and ability to live into all God created them to be.
James 2:14-26, Hebrews 10:32-39, Matthew 25:31-46

Sacrificial Giving
We support God’s work in the local church and community beyond in response to God’s blessing on our lives. We are called to be good stewards of all we have received. Part of this call involves giving money with gratitude and thanksgiving to help make sure all God’s children have what they need.
Matthew 6:19-24, Mark 12:38-44, John 12:1-8

Passionate Spirituality
We practice passionate spirituality by expressing devotion to God through prayer, reading Scripture, fasting, solitude, confession, celebration, spiritual direction, counseling, connecting with God’s creation, etc. We recognize this can look different for different people and covenant to encourage one another and hold one another accountable in these practices.
Psalm 16:5-11, Luke 6:12

We are honored that you’ve arrived here, whether by divine curiosity or intentional pursuit. This space exists for one sacred purpose: to share the love of Jesus Christ. You were created to know God in a personal way, not as a distant figure, but as a loving Father who desires relationship with you. Through His Son, Jesus Christ, that relationship is not only possible, it’s waiting for you.
Whether you are meeting Him for the first time or returning to the embrace of His grace, we are here to introduce you to the Almighty God… or to reconnect you with the One who has never stopped loving you.
He is ready to show you how much He cares. He sees you. He knows you. And He welcomes you. This is more than a website. This is a doorway to healing, hope, and divine connection. Welcome home.

Step 1
Realize that you are a sinner.
No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a perfect person. That is because we are all sinners. Sin simply means that we can’t measure up to God’s perfect standard of righteousness. The Bible says, “No one is good, not even one.” We cannot become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ.
Go to Step 2

Step 2
Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you.
The penalty for sin is death, but instead of giving that death to us, Jesus suffered death for us that we might be forgiven by God. The Bible tells us that “God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.

Step 3
Repent of your sins and go the other way.
The Bible tells us, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.” The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him. When we confess and repent, we are agreeing with God that we need His grace and forgiveness in our lives.
Go to Step 4

Step 4
Receive Jesus Christ into your life.
Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . .” If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
