CONFESSIONS ON PRAYER

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” Romans 4:17

Here are seven scriptural confessions to help you stand in faith while you’re waiting for your answer:

Today, I strengthen my communication with God through prayer. I am standing on the word of God that I will build a firm foundation on God’s Word concerning my prayer life and I stand ready, willing and able to conquer any situation I face, because I have prayed unto the Father, through His Word. My prayers are answered - I BELIEVE IT AND RECIEVE IT!

 

  1. Almighty God, I ask you to give me complete knowledge of Your will for my life and to give me spiritual wisdom and understanding so that I will always honor and please You, and that my life will produce every kind of good fruit as I learn to know You better and better. – Colossians 1:9-10
     

  2. Almighty God, I thank You that I can ask You, and You will tell me remarkable secrets I do not know, about things to come. –Jeremiah 33:3
     

  3. I am grateful to you God, that I can come boldly to Your throne and that I will receive Your mercy, and…find grace to help me when I need it most. –Hebrews 4:16
     

  4. I lift my hands in praise to You, because I can pray for anything, and if I believe that I’ve received it, it will be mine. –Mark 11:24
     

  5. Almighty God, I acknowledge that You are coming soon. I won’t worry or be anxious about anything, but I will pray about and give thanks for everything. I will tell You what I need, and I will experience Your peace, which will guard my heart and my mind as I live in Christ Jesus. –Philippians 4:5-7
     

  6. Right now, I thank You that when I don’t know what to do, I can ask You, and You will generously give me wisdom. You will not rebuke me for asking. My faith is in You alone, and I’m in agreement with Your Word. I ask in faith, and I do not doubt. –James 1:5-8

   7. Father God, creator and maker of all mankind, I believe your word and stand on your promises, that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I receive your promises 

       and I cancel every attack against me and my family. I know you will come through for me in my time of need. I am victorious. -Isaiah 54:17
