To Our Beloved Family and Friends of the North Carolina Diocese,
With a heart overflowing in gratitude, I extend my deepest thanks to each of you, both near and far, for your unwavering love and support during my 1st year as Jurisdictional Prelate. The Anniversary Celebration was a heartfelt gesture from each of you, saturated in love and covered with kindness.
This milestone was more than a date on the calendar, it was a reflection of unity, commitment, and the power of love in action. Every call, message, visit, and prayer was saturated with sincerity and covered in grace. You reminded me that we are not just a diocese, we are a family, bound by faith and strengthened by compassion.
The service itself was deeply spiritual. Each song, every musical expression, and the preached Word of God ministered to my soul and became strength to me. It was a sacred moment where heaven touched earth, and I was renewed by the power of His presence.
I am especially appreciative of your generosity, financially, and through your calls, texts, advertisements, and so much more. Every act of kindness, whether seen or unseen, was a reflection of your love and commitment to the work of the Lord. You gave not only from your resources, but from your hearts.
As I reflect on 60 years in ministry, I am humbled by the journey and grateful for the grace that has sustained me. This anniversary was not only a celebration of the works in the North Carolina Diocese, it was a celebration of God’s faithfulness through the decades. Your love and support affirmed that the labor has not been in vain.
As it is written: “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.” — Philippians 1:3, KJV Your love and support are etched in my heart, and I give God thanks for each of you.
May the same love you poured into this celebration return to you pressed down, shaken together, and running over. We move forward with renewed strength, knowing we are surrounded by such a beautiful cloud of witnesses.
With love and appreciation,
Bishop Charlene M. Jamison
Jurisdictional Prelate, North Carolina Diocese
