PASSPORT TO THE FUTURE

Youth Department of The House of God Church – Fayetteville, NC Hosts “Passport to the Future” Community School Supply Giveaway – August 9, 2025.

In a spirited effort to support local families and inspire young minds, the Youth Department of The House of God Church in Fayetteville hosted a “Passport to the Future” community giveaway on August 9. The event drew families from the area, offering a day filled with generosity, joy, and faith.

Children received free school supplies to prepare for the upcoming academic year, while attendees enjoyed meals, games, and uplifting fellowship. Volunteers from the church worked tirelessly to ensure every guest felt welcomed and cared for. Each youth attendee was able to receive a #NCDFayettville Event Passport, where they were able to visit tents set up to represent cultures around the world. Each youth attendee also received a stamp for each cultural visit.

This is more than just giving out backpacks. The heart of the church leadership could be seen showing that “It’s about investing in the future of our children and showing the love of Jesus Christ in a tangible way.”

The event was designed not only to meet practical needs but also to serve as a bridge between the church and the community. Through acts of kindness and intentional outreach, the Youth Department emphasized the importance of faith, education, and unity.

As music played and children laughed, the atmosphere reflected the church’s mission: to honor lives, comfort families, and serve with purpose. “Passport to the Future” was a reminder that when faith and action come together, communities are strengthened and hope is renewed.
