YOUNG FOLKS & FRIENDS UNION

Youth Ministry is essential to the growth of any church. Without children, there is not a future for the ministry. Our Youth Ministry is active and growing. We have many opportunities for children to learn and grow as part of our fellowship.

Our Mission:

  • To help the youth find there place in the church... and the world

  • To provide a safe place for all of our children: emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

  • To teach them the love of Christ and the joy of His forgiveness and salvation. To help them learn the truth of His Word and how to study His Word for themselves.

  • To encourage their growth within the body of Believers.

OUR STORY

Our Young Folks and Friends Union (Y.F.F.U.), both local and state expect changes to occur in the lives of our youth. Our goal is to give each youth a deeper encounter with Jesus, who is always unchanging. Jesus is relevant today and forever. It is written, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Hebrews 13:8. All across the country we have the chance to partner with the church and with families to lead the youth of today, to Jesus. The way to begin this, is to invite the youth to Sunday Bible School. That’s why what we do in youth ministry is important. Here are two factors that make what we do in youth ministry significant for the future of the church…

  • Youth ministry can reach the youth of today. Many youth don’t go to their church for various reason. Youth ministry gives us a chance to reach the youth of today in our city and lead them to Christ. Youth ministry is not just about a single church, it is about advancing the mission of Jesus Christ.  We have reached many youths in our city who will then plug into church with their family at a different church. We are here to serve our city, not just our church.

  • Youth ministry can connect teens to the mission of the church. The youth of today need a bridge to encounter the larger mission of the church, and we can be that bridge. The youth of today can serve now with other adults in the church. Youths can go on missionary outings now with the church. The youth of today can worship and grow together with the church. Connect a youth to the church today and they will connect others, to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We invite you to fellowship with any of our local Y.F.F.U. Departments and be inspired by our state events.
