LOVE IS IN THE AIR

As the world pauses today to celebrate love with flowers, candy, cards, and gifts of every price, I paused to celebrate a greater love, an eternal love. It is wonderful to honor the people we cherish, but today I want to remind you of the One whose love changed everything. John 3:16 declares the greatest love ever shown: God loved us so deeply that He gave His only begotten Son. If you are going to celebrate the person you love, then celebrate the acts of the Almighty God, who proved His love through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. And as you give gifts to others, I paused to encourage you not to forget to get a gift for the true Giver of life, health, and strength.
So while many are giving gifts today, I ask you to pause and reflect on this question: What gift will you give Christ? Will you give Him your heart, your obedience, your worship, your forgiveness toward others, your time, or your yes? Valentine’s Day is a beautiful celebration of human love, but above all, let it be a reminder to celebrate the Love that saved your soul, the Love that never fails, never fades, and never stops pursuing you. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13.
Some are grieving today, and some are alone. Call someone and share a little love, you might make their day.
