KEEP IT MOVING

We all remember the childhood story of the turtle and the rabbit. Everyone knew the rabbit could outrun the turtle, but the turtle stayed committed to his purpose. His purpose was simple: run the race. “LET US RUN WITH PATIENCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US” (HEBREWS 12:1). It didn’t matter what the weather looked like, how rough the track felt, or what people whispered about his limitations. His assignment was to keep moving forward.
Much like our lives today, God calls us to stay focused on the path He has placed before us. Even when life feels slow or progress seems small, remember: “BEING CONFIDENT OF THIS VERY THING, THAT HE WHICH HATH BEGUN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL PERFORM IT” (PHILIPPIANS 1:6). God is not finished with you, and He equips you for every step.
The rabbit lost because he stopped and underestimated the power of consistency. He relied on talent, but the turtle relied on commitment. And commitment is where victory is born. When you feel weary, God promises strength: “BUT THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH; THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES” (ISAIAH 40:31). You don’t have to run fast, just run faithfully.
Press forward with confidence, because “I PRESS TOWARD THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS” (PHILIPPIANS 3:14). And when doubt tries to slow you down, stand on this truth: “FOR WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE” (LUKE 1:37). Even the areas that concern you most are in His hands, for “THE LORD WILL PERFECT THAT WHICH CONCERNETH ME” (PSALM 138:8).
So today, move at your God‑given pace. Don’t stop. Don’t shrink back. Don’t underestimate what God can do through your steady obedience. Someone is watching your endurance. Someone is strengthened by your faithfulness. Someone is inspired by your pace.
Be a true evangelist and share the love of Jesus, His forgiveness, to everyone you meet, because your pace could be just what someone else needs.
