He Cares for Every Feeling You Carry

I was in Barnes and Noble a few weeks ago and saw a feelings chart. And as I stood there looking at all the colors, yellow, orange, red, green, I realized how many people walk around every day carrying emotions they don’t know how to name. In that moment, I decided it was appropriate to share that chart here, but with a spin of spirituality.
Because the truth is this: your feelings matter to God. Every single one.
If you find yourself in the yellow zone, uncertain, uneasy, or overwhelmed, don’t ignore it. If you slip into the orange zone, frustrated, anxious, or tense, don’t pretend you’re fine. And if you ever reach the red zone, angry, afraid, or ready to shut down, don’t isolate yourself. In every zone, in every emotional shift, you are invited to reach out for help.
In school, they tell students, “If you’re in the yellow, orange, or red zone, raise your hand and let your instructor know.” Spiritually, the same principle applies. Raise your hand. Call on Jesus. He is the Instructor who never shames, never dismisses, and never overlooks what you feel.
The Word gives us permission, no, instruction, to bring our emotions to Him.
“Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
That means every care. Every fear. Every emotion you don’t know how to process. You were never designed to carry the weight of your feelings alone. When you raise your hand, heaven responds. When you call on Jesus, He steps into the moment with comfort, clarity, and strength.
Your feelings are not a sign of weakness, they are signals that point you back to the One who cares for your soul. So today, if you find yourself in any zone other than peace, don’t hesitate. Lift your hand. Lift your voice. Lift your heart.
Jesus will meet you right where you are, and He will help you deal with every feeling, every burden, and every moment that tries to overwhelm you. He cares for you deeply, fully, and consistently. And He will not leave you in the zone you’re in, He will lead you into peace.
