WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU COMBINE A PASSION FOR YOUTH MINISTRY & EVANGELISM? IT PRODUCES SALVATION
A Testimony of Fire, Faith, and the
#MountainTop Experience
Tr. Elder LaTasha Myers, North Carolina Diocese State YFFU Coordinator, connected with Sister Zaria Curry, Sister Summer Brown, and Sister Janaria Lee and journeyed to the 2024 General Assembly of The House of God Church, Inc., in Nashville, TN. What began as a trip of expectation quickly became a divine encounter.
During the services, the power of God fell mightily. Sisters, Brown, and Lee were filled with the Holy Ghost, with Bible evidence, as the Spirit moved upon their hearts. The joy of salvation didn’t stay in Nashville; it returned home to Wilmington, NC, with them, igniting a fire that continued to burn. Their testimonies became seeds of revival.
Sister Zaria Curry, deeply impacted by what she saw and heard daily, stayed connected with Tr. Elder Myers and her fellow sisters in Christ. Inspired and hungry for more, she made the decision to attend the 2025 General Assembly. And just as it is written in Hebrews 3:15, “To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts…” - Sister Curry heard the voice of the Lord. During one of the services, she was filled with the Holy Ghost and with fire!
Now, she boldly shares the love and redemptive power of Jesus Christ with everyone she encounters. We thank God for this testimony of faith, salvation, and spiritual hunger. And we joyfully shout out Tr. Elder LaTasha Myers for her unwavering dedication, a resource of light, a guide, and a vessel through which others have found their way to Christ and the #MountainTop Experience. To God be the glory!
