NORTH CAROLINA DIOCESE STATE OPERATIONS INQUIRY FORM

As discussed during the 2024 North Carolina Diocese State Assembly, a potential change in the dates and times for state events was suggested (i.e., date/ time of the State Assembly and Sunday Bible School Convention). This discussion for suggested change will not be considered without the written insight of the membership of this diocese.


All members of the diocese have a voice and are requested to fill out the form provided below and submit it via email. We appreciate your time and effort in this matter.


*We kindly ask that all submissions be turned in by Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 10:00 PM EST. Unfortunately, any submission received after this time will not be reviewed by Bishop Charlene M. Jamison, Jurisdictional Prelate. Thank you for your understanding!

What constitutes a state alert: It shall be employed solely upon the approval of the Jurisdictional Prelate when information concerning the operations of the state is deemed necessary. Example: Emergency National Church/ State communication or such other communication relating to a matter regarding the North Carolina Diocese as a whole.

Please be advised that if the individuals named are under the age of 17, they will be included in a designated Youth and Young Adult version of the same communication that will be distributed to those categorized as 18 years of age and older.

DID YOU KNOW: In the Constitution Government and General Decree Book of The House of God Church, Inc. on page 27, paragraph 2 it states in part: "State assemblies may be held once or more each year in a state, states or territories by the state bishop or by a general elder in the absence, disability or in case of a disapproved state bishop or presided over by the Chief Oversee at any time."
